So I've done this once before for when i recorded Subhumans when they played Bako , the next day I went to transfer the video from phone to my laptop and guess what , no fucking video just sound so I converted it to mp3 format . So that's what I did here so that if you didn't want to watch the video's but just listen to a live recording , here it is . I forgot a few things in the review post , like the crazy fucker in the grey shirt (pictured above) who danced and bounced around if the bands were playing or not . And a big surprise for me at the end of the night when I walked by a couple leaving and the guy turns around and calls my name , I turn around and it's an old skinhead brother Victor I have not seen for 10 years and he's gotten married . Well anyways here in Bakersfield we get together at a friends house and bbq or have a potluck , this has been going on for 4 years now ? And it s a nice break then from going out to the bar or some other overpriced drinks and a bunch of assholes , well it was a little different this last Friday we actually had some live music . This was a first for both bands playing in front of a crowd and to have live bands play at record Friday . Thank you to our friend Keri Bryson for allowing the bands to play . I did a little short interview with both bands later on to let people to get to know the bands , their influences and their members . Up First is Generation Masturbation Gavin - Bass , Michael - Vocals , Adrian - drums , Kalesa - Guitar ,Their influences are mostly Nardcore bands to The Dead Boys and from hearing them you can hear that Agression is a BIG influence . They are still in high school and really seemed to have their sound together really hope to hear more from them . We showed up as the band was finishing with Tube Disasters (which didn't sound to bad) so i only got two songs recorded . Kidney Stones

Next up Was The Higher Mammals consisting of Darby - vocals , Jake - drums , Daniel - guitar , Logan -bass . Their influences range from Bad Religion , Red Hot Chili Peppers , The Descendants , The Growlers a little funk and a little reggae mashed all together , they have been together as this line up for only 6 months .

Everyone had a blast and really enjoyed both of the bands and hope on seeing them play again and making something of themselves, So if the bands are reading this , keep us posted on whats going on with the bands .
