SFTH South Dakota Hardcore

So i don't know much about the band but i remember seeing their name on http://www.rcpunkarchive.com  as i looked some other bands and it's a good history of bands from South Dakota and their scene ,and the other reason is the guy Dan Dittmer that runs https://www.ftwnu2.com/ . As we were conversing i found out that we had both lived in Ventura county at the same time , well i lived in Ojai and Dan lived in Camarillo and went to many of the same gigs in Oxnard , Ventura , Santa Barbara . This flyer is a gig that i was at and Dan had put on and his band Dignity played at ( i think we talked that day , but I'm not to sure it was a long time ago , mid /late 80's )

The Red Barn was just like it's name a little red barn in Isla Vista ( Santa Barbara ) where people would rent it out and a lot of gigs were played there . In fact Kent Mcclard of Ebullition Records put on many gigs there ( Downcast , Citizen Fish , Filth , Econochrist , Born Against and so many more ) . They were a 90's straight edge band who played with almost everyone who played in South Dakota  , a few of the bands they played with were Libido Boys , Insted , Reason To Believe , Vampire Lezbos , Awake , The Stench , Far Cry , Antischism , Screeching Weasel , No Means No , Downcast and dozens of other bands .
Can't say to much about their sound  i never really did listen to many straight edge bands , i was usually fucked up drunk and high i something or another and i was listening to a lot of Hardcore and Crust and it was around then i really started getting fucked upped on meth and shit so at the time i didn't give a shit about any straight edge stuff .                                                                                         Well anyways the band consisted of Dan Dittmer - guitar/vocals , Matt Kluber - drums , Brent Kuemmerle (BK) - vocals/bass , Dave Curington - bass , Craig Jackson - guitar /vocals . According to Craig Jackson (guitar)they played a couple shows together as a 5 piece then but Dave (original bassist) wasn't really going in the direction they wanted to go so Craig replaced him on bass , and around '91' BK started playing bass and Craig went back to playing 2nd guitar . This hardcore band had some fairly diverse influences " metal  , straight edge , reggae , grindcore , melodic punk , crust punk and even a little "mainstream" alternative (big at the time) .
