I started skating about the same time i got into punk rock in 1983 , mainly listening to the L.A. and Nardcore bands until i came across this comp at Dave's Skates in Ventura . I had to have it and was not disappointed and expanded my musical taste in bands and every time a comp came out i made sure to get it .
There is a variety of music on these comps but the main thing is that all bands had skaters in them . I've seen a few of them skate at the B-Ramp that was in the east end of Ventura in a barranca next to a orange orchard . A lot of pro skaters on their to or from L.A. to San Francisco would stop by and skate .
One band on here that i got to see and was blown away was Beyond Possession , well another band on here i enjoy and didn't realize who they were are Riot 303 (pre Beyond Possession)
Well grab the tunes and grab your skate and hit the streets , well unless your like me and don't /can't skate anymore . Here is Vol 1 thru 6 , i guess there are a total of 12 but this is all i have .
