after ASS came GANGLION

So after ASS called it a day some members went on to form Ganglion and there are some similarities but this is another forgotten about or unheard of excepts for  probably around the Minneapolis  area , i don't know excepts that i never heard of them until i found the ASS records blogspot and Bandcamp page which you'll find on the post of ASS but I'll leave them here again  http://blog.assrecords.net/                    https://assrecords612.bandcamp.com/                               The band consisted of Jim , Trent , Angie and Eric . This discography is everything that they released and there is a second discography , all the same songs but with commentary of the band members talking about the songs . It seems a little boring sounding but really it's not , it's kinda interesting hearing them talk about the songs , how they came up with something or how so and so screwed up on this or that song . Minneapolis ASS

First time i heard ASS was on a Profane Existence comp and i never ordered their CD , so i spent  forever trying to find their Sink CD but couldn't find out much else about the band . Fast forward a couple years and i finally come across in my search http://blog.assrecords.net/2009/04/ass-records.html and https://assrecords612.bandcamp.com/  and know i finally have info of the band .                                                                                                                                                                  This was the first ASS records digital release

This Was the first Ass release , recorded by Even on a four track at Xanadu , their practice space . On this recording was Jim , Tiffany , Cory and Gabe . ASS songs on this was 1- Hate Breeder  2 - Burned Out  3 - Number One Is A Lie  4 - Black and White  5 - WWIII (old lyrics)           sorry but this recording i wasn't able to find at all so on to the next recording .                                                                                                                                                                                                      
Up next is the second release from ASS and on their blog it says possible first DCM ( Daisy's Compact Mice)

This was released as a home dubbed tape in 2003 . FTWNU2

Based out of the frozen wasteland called Minneapolis sprung the makings of the record label entitled FTWNU2 , and out of the snowed in tundra they have released hellfire with the soundtrack of Bonefire , Trinity Test , Dissident Clone , No Skin and Hive playing in the background to pummel your senses . A small Minnesota based and run label dealing with only Minnesota band . It's hard to find nowadays where a label deals with just local bands and it shows in their releases , not many releases out but DAMN what they do have is just insane .                                                                        I ordered from then a while back The Bonefire Murderapolis cd and was not dissappointed , hell i ordered on a Saturday and i think it was Monday ( or was it Tuesday ) a package arrived from Ftwnu2 with the CD and a few extra goodies , some stickers , some badges and a Dissident Clone 7"

They have a couple new releases coming out soon , first up is Trinity Test 10 song LP or CDto be released this Saturday ( TOMORROW ) on Record Store Day and limited to 100 each .

Profane Existence Aftermath compilation

So we all know Profane Existence and the music they put out and the magazine , well this is the Aftermath double lp that came out in 1999 . I've listened to it but never seen the poster insert before until a friend came over years ago and had to show it to me , to my amazement there is something i had wrote on an envelope when i had ordered some stuff from Profane a few years earlier ( around 95 , 96 when i lived in Oklahoma) so in early 2000 i seen the poster insert and in between the bands is a saying (actually a part of a song i was working on)                                                                                   " Somewhere tomorrow where our dreams lie , We gotta fight for them before they die , This world we were born in , An inheritance of hate  Something one day we will change. "                                     and with my name in there . It might not seem like much but to see my name in one of Profane Existence records along so many great bands makes you feel appreciated or something like that  .  well i spent years looking for a copy and even contacted Profane/Blackened and asked them about it , hell none of them even had a copy . Well in April 2018 i finally found and got a hold of a copy thanks to Discogs.com
