Benefit for PigLuvCo 05/20/2023

On Friday night I went to a house show for a benefit show for https://www.pigluvco.org/ and it was a pretty chill night with some good people and some hella great bands which too find out that this is the 3rd year in a row that LATEST REGRET has put on this benefit for PigLuvCo , and parked out front was POPPI'S PASTRAMI AND MORE food truck to get your grub on and a couple pigs running around and one in the front yard with were pets of the bassist Dave of Latest Regret . 

 

And then ther is this guy , I forgot his name but you will see him rolling around town and blasting his tunes and hella cool for everyone making him feel accepted and comfortable and hella cool for David to get out there dancing with him . 

                                             

Up first was STILL MISSING from Bakersfield with their punk/Hardcore sound and one song (Still Missing) that they played hit close to home , you might of heard about it in the news Orrin and Orsen West .  I've heard of the band for a little bit but this was the first time I have seen them and was pretty impressed by the by their 80's sound.

                                                                                                                                                                                               Up next from Ventura with their style of skate rock was CARRY THE 9 , I seen them once before with LATEST REGRET at THE TRAP and I really enjoyed them and not because they were from VENTU , but because they were a more mellow and catchy sound like Rise Against , Face To Face then the Crust and D-Beat music I normally listen to .

Up next from Lopoc was Dirt Fight and they were another band I hadn't heard of until this night and they were hella good and they ended their set with a cover song from an early 80's Lompoc band called THE CORRUPTORS and who I actually seen back then , I think I seen them at The Red Barn in Isla Vista (Santa Barbara) if not there then I seen them in Ventura or Oxnard . Overall it was a hell of a night , very chill and relaxed and most surprisingly no cops showed up at all .All the bands rocked it hard and had a blast as did everyone else in attendance . The rest of these pictures I took off of Facebook and from Keri Bryson , so enjoy.
